Where the numbers come from
Every figure on this site comes from RealTrends Verified, a national ranking run by HW Media that publishes verified production numbers for agents and teams. The 2026 rankings, released , use 2025 sales. We copy their numbers as published and link each one.
The four numbers
- Sales volume.
- The total dollar value of homes a team helped buy or sell in 2025. It shows how much business a team handles.
- Homes sold (sides).
- Every sale has two sides: the buyer's and the seller's. A team that represents both counts two. You may see a decimal, like 18.3, when a sale is split between agents.
- Average sale.
- Volume divided by sides. A high average means a team works mostly at the top of the market. A lower average can mean it serves a wider range of buyers and sellers. Neither is better on its own.
- Team size.
- RealTrends groups teams by licensed agents:

Why we don't blend the numbers into one score
Some rankings mix volume, sales and average sale into one score, then decide which teams count. Change the mix or the cutoff and the winner changes. We keep RealTrends' own order and show every number, so you can weigh what matters to you.
Before you trust any ranking, ask three things. Who made it? Who got left out? Could you rebuild the order yourself from the numbers shown? We built this report so the answer to the last one is always yes.
What these numbers can't tell you
- They cover one year.2025 only. A great year or a slow one can move a team up or down.
- City means RealTrends' city.RealTrends ranks each team in one city, even if it sells all over the region.
- Volume isn't service.Ask any team for recent sales in your neighborhood and price range, and read their reviews.
